This duvet is made with care in Canada with Canadian fill. The shell is 400-thread-count cotton – soft and quiet. The duvet is filled with 700 loft duck down farmed by Hutterites in Alberta, Canada. Down fill is soft and luxurious, made up of tiny, fluffy clusters. The fill is high loft, which means it is high quality and very warm per ounce. This is why you’ll find this duvet is very lightweight. Just a little bit of fill goes a long way toward warmth!

Opt for Regular Weight if your room temperature is around 19 – 21 degrees C or if you’re fairly warm when you sleep. All-Season Weight is best if your room temperature is 16 – 18 degrees C or if you’re a cooler sleeper.

– Our Canadian Hutterite Down Duvet Insert should be used with a duvet cover at all times. Failure to do so will cause premature wear and invalidate the warranty.
– Prior to use, shake the duvet insert vigorously to help fluff up the down. It will take about 1 week of use before the outer fabric softens up and the down lofts up to its full potential.
– A properly preserved duvet insert should only require cleaning after five to ten years, if at all.
– If your insert requires cleaning, have the comfort DRY CLEANED or PROFESSIONALLY WASHED by a reputable cleaner that specializes in cleaning down + feather products.
– DO NOT attempt to machine wash or dry clean this product yourself. If the filling stays even slightly damp, the down + feather will clump together and may allow mildew growth.

So cozy

I have been wanting a new feather duvet for ages. This is perfect and I love how clear Skylark & Owl are about where the feathers come from etc. Wonderful!

We are happy to offer free shipping on orders over $100 within Canadian provinces.

Please note that at this time, we are unable to ship to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Additionally, remote area deliveries may experience longer shipping times.

Our fulfillment team tries their best to turn your order around within 2-3 business days; however, from time to time order volumes may be high and can cause backlogs in processing orders. We always strive our best to get your order shipped out in a timely fashion. 

If all of your items from your order are in stock, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information within 2-3 business days. If you purchase an item that is on pre-order, you will receive this confirmation as soon as ALL items are available. 

Returns

If you are unhappy with your products for any reason, we are happy to accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Before washing or using your comfort, we ask that you ensure you are happy with the colour and feel of your sheets in the space you will be using them. Once we have received the product back, the refund will be issued to the original method of payment. Please note that you will have to cover the return shipping cost, and shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

All items on the “Final Sale” page are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
