I suppose I only have myself to blame for not fully reading the description, but going back and reading now "Includes convenient hand slits that make inserting your duvet a breeze" would not have made me realize that there are basically holes along the seams of the duvet cover.
The duvet cover is lovely quality, but I hate this feature. It just looks like the duvet cover has holes and I find that it does not make it any easier to insert the duvet. A much better design choice would be just to have ties in the corner of the duvet cover so that the duvet insert actually stays put. Thank goodness I didn't get a darker colour because then the holes would be far more obvious, with a white duvet peaking through.
Also, an fyi for future buyers, the pillow cases are quite a bit larger than standard.
