Classic percale sheets
I am the original The Princess And The Pea. Once I learned that the sheets I loved when I stayed in hotels were percale, I was a convert. Over the years I became more and more disillusioned about the quality of the sheets I purchased. They were not crisp, they were not smooth to my cheeks, and the top hem frequently got crooked and impossible to smooth out even with dedicated ironing. Skylark & Owl sheets have been the exception. THEY ARE TRUE PERCALE. I can sleep on the pillow slips without feeling creeped out because they are kind of prickly. I particularly recommend the striped sheets. Easy peasy bed making.
